Happy Hens Studio

The Happy Hens Studio is situated on the beautiful Otago Peninsula and the main route to the world famous Royal Albatross colony and Marine Aquarium. The studio is where all Happy Hens start life! Visitors can see the creative process in action, from the moulds to kiln, to the intricate hand painting of the Hens. Most of the patterns represent different breeds of hens and are stylised to fit the characteristic round Happy Hen shape.

Studio hours:
Mon-Fri 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
Sat-Sun 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm
(Extended hours during summer months)
